How to say '"I hate you" in hebrew

Here are 10 ways to express dislike or hatred in Hebrew. Keep in mind that some of these phrases can be very harsh and context matters. Use them carefully:

  1. אני שונא אותך (Ani soneh otcha) - "I hate you" (male speaking to a male or generic).אני שונאת אותך (Ani sonet otcha) - "I hate you" (female speaking to a male).אותך changes to אותך (otach) if addressing a female.

  2. אני לא סובל אותך (Ani lo sovel otcha) - "I can't stand you" (male).אני לא סובלת אותך (Ani lo sobelet otcha) for a female speaker.

  3. אתה דוחה אותי (Ata docheh oti) - "You disgust me" (to a male).את דוחה אותי (At docha oti) - (to a female).

  4. אני מתעב אותך (Ani meta'ev otcha) - "I loathe you" (male).אני מתעבת אותך (Ani meta'evet otcha) - (female).

  5. יש לי שנאה אליך (Yesh li sin'ah eilecha) - "I have hatred toward you" (to a male).אלייך (Eilayich) for a female.

  6. אתה בלתי נסבל (Ata bilti nisbal) - "You are unbearable" (to a male).את בלתי נסבלת (At bilti nisbelet) for a female.

  7. אני נגעל ממך (Ani niga'al mimecha) - "I am disgusted by you" (male speaker to a male).אני נגעלת ממך (Ani niga'elet mimecha) for a female speaker.

  8. לא יכול לראות אותך (Lo yachol lirot otcha) - "I can't even look at you" (male speaker).לא יכולה לראות אותך (Lo yechola lirot otcha) for a female speaker.

  9. אתה מרגיז אותי (Ata margiz oti) - "You irritate me" (to a male).את מרגיזה אותי (At margiza oti) for a female.

  10. אתה הרסת לי את החיים (Ata harasta li et hachayim) - "You ruined my life" (to a male).את הרסת לי את החיים (At harast li et hachayim) for a female.
